Fight for his right

Competitive: Leong Jun Hao will have to keep an eye on junior Ng Tze Yong (below) in the national ranking challenge.

PETALING JAYA: Shuttler Leong Jun Hao may be ranked third in the men’s singles in terms of seniority but that does not guarantee him a spot in any major tournaments.

The 22-year-old knows it and is ready to fight for his place just like everyone else to make the squad for the Sudirman Cup in Vaanta, Finland from Sept 26-Oct 3 and the Thomas Cup Finals in Aarhus, Denmark from Oct 9-17.
