Rexy’s doubles dare

Make us proud: Pearly Tan (left) and M. Thinaah are one of the doubles pairs heading for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham from July 28 to Aug 8.

PETALING JAYA: Rexy Mainaky has lost some weight but it has nothing to do with managing the huge expectations in the doubles department.

“Yes, I have lost some weight since I joined Malaysia but it’s not because of my job. In fact, I’ve been trying to lose some kilos as I need to shed all those fat,” said the jovial Rexy, who was appointed as the national doubles coaching director on Dec 1 last year.
