INSPIRED by his younger brother Loh Kean Yew’s historic triumph at the last World Championships, Kean Hean had his own moment of glory.

Yesterday, the 27-year-old combined superbly with Terry Hee to stun Malaysia’s world championships bronze medallists Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi 22-20, 22-20 in the men’s doubles second round at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.
