PETALING JAYA: Eogene Ewe saw his gallant run in the World Junior Championships come to an end after going down 18-21, 17-21 to Thailand’s Panitchapon Teeraratsakul in the fourth round of the boys’ singles event in Santander.
Unseeded Eogene did well to upstage Taiwan’s Ting Yen-chen 21-19, 22-20 in the third round on Wednesday but found Panitchapon harder to beat.
