BAM chief to address Misbun issue in special press conference

PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Norza Zakaria is ready to respond to Datuk Misbun Sidek's outburst following his dismissal from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) set-up.

In a special press conference at 5pm Wednesday (Aug 2), Norza is expected to counter Misbun's claims that his dismissal as junior development director was unfair.

BAM had released a statement on Friday (July 28), saying that the national body had parted ways mutually with Misbun but he insisted that the decision was not discussed with him.

The decision comes after the junior squad failed to win any medals in the Asian Junior Championships in Yogyakarta last month.
