Living in a van helps German to bronze bronze


YEARS of living in a van outside the training centre have paid off for Thomas Wandschneider when he won a first ever Paralympics medal in the sport of badminton for Germany yesterday.

The 60-year-old Wandschneider secured bronze in Paris when he beat South Korea’s Jeong Jae-gun in straight sets, 26-24, 21-11.
