A Malaysian badminton coach could be heading abroad

PETALING JAYA: A Malaysian badminton coach is likely to head for a coaching stint overseas.

According to a tweet from Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) secretary general Datuk Kenny Goh, Malaysia could soon lose an experienced coach to another Asian country.

"I have just received some happy news. A Malaysian coach will most likely be appointed as head coach of a national team in Asia," Kenny posted.

"It's good to see our coaches progressing, and I played a small part in this development."

When contacted, Kenny said he could not reveal the coach's identity yet and asked to wait for the official announcement.

It is understood that the announcement could be made by the end of this month.
