PETALING JAYA: Rosman Razak is set to return to the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) as the women's doubles head coach after four years.

Rosman coached the doubles shuttlers for almost two decades before leaving BAM in 2020 after the national body did not renew his contract.

BAM have now confirmed his re-appointment and the 48-year-old will officially begin his duties at the Academy Badminton Malaysia in Bukit Kiara on Nov 5.

"We welcome Rosman back into the coaching team," said national coaching director Rexy Mainaky.

"His years of experience with the national team are invaluable and we believe that his leadership will be instrumental in driving the women's doubles squad to new heights."

Rosman will be working closely with Rexy along with senior team coach Ching Kai Feng and junior coach Amelia Anscelly.

Rosman will leave his current role as independent coach for the likes of men's doubles pairs Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani and Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi to join BAM again.
