Letshanaa and Ling Ching trip up at last-four hurdles in Indonesia


PETALING JAYA: Women’s singles shuttlers K. Letshanaa and Wong Ling Ching blew the chance to reach their first final this year in the Indonesian International Challenge.

World No. 68 Letshanaa went down 17-21, 10-21 to Indonesia’s world No. 97 Mutiara Ayu while Ling Ching narrowly lost 21-13, 17-21, 16-21 to 16-year-old Thai Yataweemin Ketklieng in the last four in Surabaya yesterday.
