Aaron-Wooi Yik smash into Korean Masters semis


National No. 1 men's doubles pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik made it into the semi-finals of the Korean Masters.

PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik are through to the semi-final of the Korean Masters.

Aaron-Wooi Yik easily beat homesters Kim Jae-hyeon-Lee Sang-won 21-17, 21-12 in the last eight in Iksan City on Friday (Nov 8).

The world No. 6 will take on Taiwan's two-time Olympic champion Wang Chi-lin and his new partner Chiu Hsiang-chieh next on Saturday (Nov 9) for a place in the final.

Aaron-Wooi Yik last made it into a final in the All-England in March where they finished runners-up.
