Shuttler Sze Fei gets engaged

PETALING JAYA: It was a joyful end to the year for men's doubles shuttler Goh Sze Fei after he announced his engagement with partner Yoke Shan.

Sze Fei, who enjoyed a breakthrough year with Nur Izzuddin Rumsani on the court, got engaged to Yoke Shan on Wednesday (Dec 25).

"The best gift this season is the promise of us," posted Sze Fei on Instagram.

The 27-year-old is having a well-deserved break before returning for the Malaysian Open from Jan 7-12 in Bukit Jalil.

Sze Fei will be keen to continue his great form with Izzuddin in 2025 after capturing the China, Japan, and Arctic Opens this year.

The pair also finished runners-up in the Asian Championships and World Tour Finals.
