KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's campaign has ended in the Thailand Masters when not made it to the quarter-finals.

The last men standing Kang Khai Xing-Aaron Tai went down 21-19, 16-21, 14-21 to Shohibul Fitri-Daniel Marthin of Indonesia in the second round in Bangkok at Nimibutr Stadium on Thursday (Jan 30).

Earlier, the men's singles challenge was completely wiped out with the defeats of Jacky Kok and Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin in Bangkok.

Aidil was overpowered 9-21, 15-21 by China’s sixth seed Wang Zhengxing in the second round.

Former national teammate Jacky Kok also lost 13-21, 18-21 to South Korea’s fifth seed Jeon Hyeok-jin.

A day ago, Justin Hoh was also shown the exit in the first round.

In the men’s doubles, Goh V Shem, partnering South Korea’s Choi Sol-gyu, were unable to overcome top seeds Leo Rolly Carnando-Daniel Marthin from Indonesia.
