PETALING JAYA: Victory is indeed sweeter the second time around for the NS Matrix Deers as they clinched the Major Basketball League (MBL) title again.

The Deers put on a superb show for fans at the Maba Stadium in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, closing out the series with an 83-66 victory against rivals Johor Southern Tigers in the second leg. They had also beaten the Tigers 80-71 in the first leg.
