Lee Zii Jia turns heads on catwalk at shopping mall

PETALING JAYA - National badminton singles player Lee Zii Jia made an appearance at a shopping complex here, modelling an outfit and captivating the audience with his show on the catwalk.

Malay daily Kosmo reported that a video of Lee strutting in a blue jacket, white T-shirt and shorts went viral on social media platforms TikTok, Facebook and X.

He proudly displayed the bronze medal he recently won at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Lee was also seen allowing his fans in the audience to touch the medal.

One of his fans @anistaqwa shared the video on TikTok, garnering comments like "Handsome," "Cool," and "Lee Zii Jia on fire."

Many other social media users in the audience during the show also posted videos of his catwalk.

Social media user Suzann wrote "Lee Zii Jia is perfect as a model; he has the height and he looks handsome, but you can still see the shyness on his face as he walks in front of the crowd. After this, you'll be even more famous."

Another fan wrote "After this, he might skip a lot of badminton training to attend modelling classes."

During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Lee lost to Thailand's Kunlavut Vitidsarn in his last match with 14-21, 15-21.

His fans were eagerly awaiting his next match at the Daihatsu Japan Open 2024 from Aug 20 to 25, hoping he will avenge his recent loss, possibly facing Kunlavut again.

Some fans commented on his latest videos, saying, "Tomorrow, he will be leaving for the Japan Open."
