Negri blaze lanes for first gold in 14 years


PETALING JAYA: Negri Sembilan’s men's triple bowling team, brought home their first ever gold medal after 14 years for the Malaysian Games (Sukma) at Megalanes Sarawak, Kuching on Sunday (Aug 18).

The trio consisted of Izz Naqiuddin Putera Islahuddin, Carl Zharfan Aisy Redzuan and Azraei Najmi Azizan rounded up a total of 3,726 points.

The Penang team settled for silver with 3,711 points while the Perak team took home bronze with 3,681 points.
