THE Penang men’s bowling team came to Kuching wanting the Malaysian Games (Sukma) team bowling gold medal. And they clinched it, but only just.

The battle for gold was intense, particularly between the Penang and Johor teams, who bowled side by side, pushing each other to the limit.
