THE seed for yet another winter sport has been planted with the introduction of curling in Malaysia to kick-start the sport in the region as part of initiative Curling in the Tropics.

Ten members from the local but steadily growing ice skating fraternity comprising parents of ice skaters to figure skating coaches recently became the first batch of Malaysians to take the first step to becoming instructors of the sport.
