PETALING JAYA: Track cyclist Azizulhasni Awang has one foot in the Tokyo Olympics after he moved up to second spot in the world rankings for men’s elite keirin.

The 31-year-old overtook Dutch sprinter and reigning world champion Matthijs Buchli to take second spot with 2,505 points. Buchli slipped one rung to third with 2,320 points while Japan’s Yudai Nitta remained on top with 2,850 points.
