LANGKAWI: Russian rider Gleb Syritsa stamped his mark at the Le Tour de Langkawi after he won the first stage here yesterday.

The Astana Qazaqstan rider dominated the 96.5km route around the island as he crossed the line in the mass sprint with a time of 2’04:37, just ahead of Team DSM-Firmenich PostNL’s Casper Van Uden while Lorenzo Conforti of VF Group-Bardiani CSF-Faizane took third place.
