Syawal feels blessed to go from cheerer to the cheered


CAMERON HIGHLANDS: From being a fan cheering the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) cavalcade, to having himself being cheered on by his hometown, Mohd Syawal Mazlin had an emotional finish at Stage 3 of the race yesterday.

Riding from Taiping to his hometown of Cameron Highlands and covering a distance of 170.3km, the 20-year-old Syawal finished the agonising climb up as the best Malaysian finisher, coming in at 44th for Malaysia Pro Cycling.
