Shah Firdaus men’s sprint campaign ends early in Ballerup


PETALING JAYA: Track cyclist Mohd Shah Firdaus Sahrom could not muster up the strength to enter the men’s sprint event final at the World Track Cycling Champion–ships in Ballerup, Denmark, yesterday.

The 28-year-old national rider had qualified for the 1/16 finals after coming in 22nd out of 30 riders in the qualifying round, setting a time of 9.940s.
