National body await cyclist’s OK for place in Podium Programme

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) are not prepared to let go of track cyclist Azizulhasni Awang as they feel he can still play a big role in the national team.

MNCF, together with National Sports Council, have included the two-time Olympic medallist in the Podium Programme for next year and hopes the 36-year-old Azizul will accept the conditions that come with the offer.
