NILAI: National track cyclist Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri underlined her medal credentials at the Asian Track Cycling Championships (ACC) by breaking her national record en route to booking her place in the women elite’s individual sprint semi-finals.

The Paris Olympian beat compatriot Nur Alyssa Mohd Farid 2-0 in the quarter-finals at the National Velodrome in Nilai yesterday to set a date with China’s Guo Yufang today.
