PETALING JAYA: Malaysia have never qualified for the Olympic women’s team sprint in cycling before but things look promising for the next edition.

The possibility of the country earning an Olympic quota slot in the women’s team sprint in either 2028 Los Angeles or 2032 Brisbane is a realistic goal based on the performance of the women cyclists in the elite and junior ranks at the just concluded Asian Championships in Nilai.
