Yiwei-Tze Liang leave Vietnam opponents way behind to retain title

PETALING JAYA: Chew Yiwei-Ooi Tze Liang successfully retained their men’s 3m springboard synchro title to hand Malaysia their second gold in the Hanoi SEA Games.

Yiwei-Tze Liang garnered 395.79 points in the six-round competition at My Dinh Aquatic Centre yesterday to ensure a Malaysian sweep of the first two diving gold medals at stake on the opening day of competition.
