PETALING JAYA: National diver Nur Dhabitah Sabri secured her spot in the women’s 3m springboard semi-finals after finishing 12th out of 28 divers in the preliminaries.

With only the top 18 divers advancing to the semis, Dhabitah scored a total of 283.65 points after five rounds at the Paris Olympics Aquatics Centre on Wednesday (Aug 7).

China’s Chen Yiwen took the top spot with 356.40 points, while Australia’s Maddison Keeney came in second with 337.35 and Mexico’s Aranza Vazquez Montano finished third with 321.75.

Dhabitah will compete in the semi-finals on Thursday (Aug 8) at 4pm, where she will need to be among the top 12 to advance to the final.
