(Reuters) - Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe will miss Saturday's trip to Swansea City in the Premier League after failing to recover from a calf injury, manager Eddie Howe said on Friday.

Defoe's absence means Benik Afobe is likely to line up alongside the in-form Callum Wilson.
