Chairman Moshiri says Everton close to appointing manager

(Reuters) - Everton chairman Farhad Moshiri has shortlisted three candidates and says he is close to the appointment of a new manager for the Premier League club.

Everton's caretaker manager David Unsworth said later on Friay that the struggling Merseyside club needed to appoint a permanent manager as quickly as possible.
