KABUL (Reuters) - Afghan authorities are investigating allegations of sexual abuse of members of the national women's soccer team after a report in Britain's Guardian newspaper that said they were molested by officials from the Afghan football federation.

The Guardian reported on Friday that senior figures associated with the Afghanistan women's team alleged that abuse took place inside the country, including at the federation's headquarters, and at a training camp in Jordan last February.
