PETALING JAYA: Local players are coming to the fore for Johor Darul Ta’zim.

Although their Brazilian striker Diogo Santo scored two goals (47th and 72nd minutes) in their 4-2 win over Petaling Jaya City in their Malaysia Cup tie at the Larkin Stadium on Wednesday, coach Benjamin Mora was effusive in his praise of winger Safawi Rasid, who scored in the sixth minute, and midfielder Afiq Fazail.
