PETALING JAYA: Malaysia came back from 2-1 down to beat Indonesia 3-2 in their opening Group G World Cup 2022/Asia Cup 2023 qualifying match at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Thursday (Sept 5).

In the first-half, Indonesia took the lead through striker Beto Goncalves in the 11th minute.
