Kedah face tough task to overcome weather and opponents

Uphill task: Skipper Baddrol Bakhtiar said Kedah are the underdogs against Seoul FC today.

PETALING JAYA: They may have won big 5-1 against Hong Kong’s Tai Po but Kedah captain Baddrol Bakhtiar knows his team are now the underdogs as they go into the AFC Champions League (ACL) final playoff against South Korea’s Seoul FC at the Seoul World Cup Stadium today.

It’s a chilling prospect, literally. Not only do the Koreans have the bigger names and pedigree, the temperature at the stadium is expected to go as low as 2ºC. The Red Eagles will be shivering but have no choice but to brave it if they hope to seal a spot in the ACL group stage.
