LISBON (Reuters) - New Sporting Lisbon coach Ruben Amorim has embraced the challenge that awaits him at the troubled Portuguese club after they paid 10 million euros to free him from his contract with Braga.
Sporting, who have won the Portuguese title 18 times, are fourth in the standings after 23 games, trailing leaders Porto by 20 points.
