PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Syahmi Safari is taking a leaf from some of the top players featuring in the Euro 2020 in order to be a more versatile player.

The 23-year-old Selangor man may be picked to replace regular leftback La’vere Corbin Ong for Harimau Malaya’s match against Thailand in the World Cup 2022-Asian Cup 2023 second-round qualifiers in Doha.
