PETALING JAYA: Penang coach Thomas Trucha is still in search for ideal candidates to replace defensive midfielder Khairu Azrin Khazali and Brazilian centreback Rafael Victor for their Malaysia Cup challenge.

In the absence of the injured duo, Penang’s progress was affected in the tournament as they lost 1-3 to Sarawak United and held 1-1 by Kuala Lumpur. They are now placed third in Group A with one point.
