FRANKFURT, Germany (Reuters) - The short-notice absence of Germany captain Manuel Neuer and midfielder Leon Goretzka from their Nations League games is frustrating but a good way to test procedures ahead of the World Cup in Qatar, Germany coach Hansi Flick said on Thursday.
The Germans, who face Hungary on Friday in Leipzig before travelling to England next week, will be without the pair who were ruled out with COVID-19 infections on Wednesday.
