LEICESTER, England (Reuters) - Leicester City's James Maddison should be in England's World Cup squad, his club manager Brendan Rodgers said after the lively midfielder scored twice in a 4-0 thrashing of Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest on Monday.

The attacking midfielder has been overlooked by England manager Gareth Southgate since his one senior appearance as a second-half substitute against Montenegro in a Euro 2020 qualifier in 2019.
