PETALING JAYA: The Rhinos had entered the Southern Tigers’ den hoping to spoil their home party and earn an AFC Cup ticket.

But Sabah lost 3-0 to recently crowned champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) on Saturday and finished third in the Super League, thus missing out on the continental competition.
