A challenge: J. Partiban’s friends told him ‘it is either win the AFC Cup or there will be no Deevapali’ celebration for him.

PETALING JAYA: The lights on Deepavali Day will only be brighter if Kuala Lumpur winger J. Partiban wins the AFC Cup with his teammates today.

The 29-year-old, who hails from Perak, said the final against Oman Professional League champions Al-Seeb at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil today would be the most crucial game of his life as he hoped to help the City Boys lift their first ever continental title.
