PETALING JAYA: The return of Lucas Espindola has brought back the smiles.
Pahang’s top striker Kpah Sherman is glad that Espindola will be there together with him upfront when they face Terengganu in the Super League on April 26 at the Sultan Mizan Stadium.
“I usually look forward for support in attack and I will get that with the return of Lucas. He’s back from a knee injury, and slowly, he will get back to his usual form,” said Sherman.
This season, Sherman has scored four goals and notched three assists and hopes to add to those tallies.
“I’ve to be an all-around striker. Not only do I score goals, but I also want to assist and defend from the front.
‘‘The three assists showed that I’m more than happy to help the team, and I will continue doing that.”
Pahang are unbeaten in the Super League after nine games. They are in third position with 19 points.
And in order to keep that good run, Sherman believes they must further refine their gameplay.
