(Reuters) - West Bromwich Albion have identified some of the fans who disrupted Sunday's FA Cup fourth-round tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers at The Hawthorns, suspended their ticketing accounts and reported them to police, the club said on Friday.
Wolves were leading the derby 2-0 when projectiles were hurled on to one end of the pitch in the 82nd minute, sparking a brawl involving the two sides' supporters. The match was completed after a 38-minute pause, with the scoreline staying the same.
"A number of individuals have been identified as part of the club's ongoing investigation into the disruption and their details have been passed to West Midlands Police for further criminal investigation," West Brom said in a statement.
"In addition, the club has written to these supporters to inform them their ticket accounts have been suspended, ensuring they cannot attend games at The Hawthorns until further notice."
Six people were arrested in connection with the incident that left several fans injured, West Midlands police said on Monday.
English soccer bodies including the FA, the Premier League, the EFL and PGMOL issued a joint statement on Tuesday saying they were "very concerned" about recent incidents of violence, discriminatory acts and pitch invasions.
"We will work tirelessly, alongside the police, to bring offenders to justice and stamp this behaviour out of our game," they said in the statement.
West Brom, fifth in the Championship, host Birmingham on Saturday.
