PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur has secured their first Super League win this season after defeating Negri Sembilan 3-0 at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi on Friday (June 21).

Captain Paulo Josue delivered a superb performance, scoring one goal and assisting another.

He assisted the first goal by producing a right-footed cross, which was finished by midfielder Brendan Gan in the 28th minute.

Josue scored the second goal in the 73rd minute, taking advantage of a pass from midfielder Zhafri Yahya.

The third goal came in the 92nd minute when substitute winger S. Sharvin capitalised on a corner from Zhafri.

Negri had one player sent off when midfielder Jacques Faye made a horrible tackle on Ryan Lambert in the 52nd minute.

For the home side, it was their third consecutive defeat in the league, leaving them at the bottom of the table without a point.
