I'm still with MFL, says Stuart Ramalingam

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Football League (MFL) chief executive officer Datuk Stuart Ramalingam has denied rumours he is leaving the organisation.

He said he is committed to the role and will discuss an extension with his employers soon.

"All I can say for now is that I am committed to MFL and discussions are ongoing about my contract that ends in August," he said when contacted on Friday (July 5).

"Do note that anything official on this will be announced in due course and for now I am still committed to my role."

Speculation was rife that Stuart was stepping down because of internal pressure, and some even said the recent decision on Selangor made him rethink his role in the organisation.
