(Reuters) - AS Roma have signed Argentine winger Matias Soule from Juventus, the Serie A clubs announced on Tuesday.

Neither Roma nor Juve disclosed the financial details or the contract length of the 21-year-old's move.

Having joined Juve in 2021, Soule spent last season on loan at Frosinone, where he scored 11 goals in 39 appearances.

He has represented Argentina at youth levels, including the 2023 Under-20 World Cup.

"For the Giallorossi he will wear the number 18. A special shirt number that belonged to another Argentine, Gabriel Omar Batistuta, in the year of the third Scudetto," Roma said in a statement, referring to their last title in 2001.
