Bergson inspires JDT's 6-0 rout of Kedah

PETALING JAYA: Bergson Da Silva put on a show at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium when he scored a hattrick in Johor Darul Ta'zim's 6-0 demolition of Kedah in the Super League on Friday (Aug 9).

The Brazilian striker got his goals in the eighth, 35th and 64th minute to continue dominating the league goalscoring charts with nine.

The other goals for the Southern Tigers were scored by centreback Feroz Baharudin (74th), Brazilian wingback Murilo Henrique (76th) and midfielder Afiq Fazail (80th).

The win sees JDT cementing the top spot with 22 points from eight games.

In Temerloh, home side Pahang were beaten 2-3 by Sabah at the Temerloh Stadium.

The Rhinos' goals were scored by wingers Jafri Firdaus Chew (19th), Farhan Roslan (26th) and left wingback Daniel Ting (35th).

Pahang's Liberian striker Kpah Sherman, returning from injury, scored the two goals for them in the sixth and 48th minute.
