NZ thrashes M’sia 0-4 at international friendly

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia were humbled by New Zealand 0-4 in an international friendly at the New Harbour Stadium in Auckland on Monday (Oct 14).

Despite a resilient defensive performance in the first-half, Harimau Malaya struggled in the second, with the All-Whites scoring three goals.

Goals for New Zealand were scored by wingers Elijah Just (52nd minute), Matthew Garbett (60th), striker Chris Wood (71st), and midfielder Logan Rogerson (89th).

Malaysia’s next international assignment will be a friendly against India on Nov 19.
