PETALING JAYA: Selangor’s two early goals were enough to see them win 2-1 against Korean side Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the AFC Champions League Two (ACL 2) on Wednesday (Oct 23).
The Red Giants found the back of the net first through defender Harith Haikal in the 31st minute at the Petaling Jaya Stadium.
Ali Olwan doubled their lead after an assist from Noaa Laine two minutes later.
Jeonbuk regained momentum and reduced the deficit just before half-time in the 40th minute through Kwan Chang-hoon.

Selangor are now top of Group H with seven points while Jeonbuk are in second with six.
Thai club Muangthong United have two points in third place and Cebu FC are in last place with one point.
