Malaysia Cup: Sabah beats Kuching 1-0 to reach semi-final


PETALING JAYA: Sabah completed the list of Malaysia Cup semi-finalists after beating Borneo rivals Kuching 1-0 on aggregate in the two-legged quarter-final.

The Rhinos held the Cats 0-0 in the second leg at the Likas Stadium in Kota Kinabalu on Monday (Dec 23).

In the first leg, Sabah beat them 1-0 in Kuching, thanks to Farhan Roslan’s solitary goal.

Sabah will face Pahang in the two-legged semi-final, with the first leg being held in Kota Kinabalu on Jan 17 next year.

The other semi-final will see defending champions Johor Darul Ta’zim take on East Coast giants Terengganu.
