Five progress to thenational final of WAGC

THE first qualifying round of the World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC) held at TPC Kuala Lumpur drew a field of 83 golfers and saw five players progress to the national final.

The winners were four-handicapper Mansol Mamat in the A category. He finished with a 76 nett, while the B category honours went to Datuk Abdul Rahman Rahim, who played off a seven handicap and registered a 68 nett.
