MALAYSIA’S leading women’s golfer and the sole representative on the LPGA Tour, Kelly Tan, staged her inaugural Invitational tournament on the Ocean course of the Els Club Desaru Coast in Johor and said she was both honoured and privileged to be afforded the luxury of hosting her own event.
Indeed, it turned out to be a rather pleasant experience, on and off the golf course, as Els Club went out of their way to ensure that the lead-up to their club ambassador’s return to the LPGA Tour was a notable one.
